The new Connect 2 bridge is set to be opened on Friday
There will be an opening event on Friday 19th April 2013 at 2-3pm at the Stubbs Drive end.
It seems like only yesterday that Barry Mason proposed the idea years ago, at a community council meeting in 2003!
I’m shocked at just what a complete mess Southwark Council made of the Bail Hostel debacle.
Back in 2010 council staff were telling the administration to move Ellison House.
In January 2013 Southwark announced they were planning on building a 30 room bedsit bail hostel
at the junction of Rotherhithe New Road, and the Old Kent Road.
Bermondsey deserves better than that.
The Old Kent Road needs jobs, homes,
A Positive Vision for a Sustainable Future.
The people of Bermondsey need councillors who they can trust,
Who listen to local people and support them,
We’ve all been let done so badly by the Labour administration.
Bermondsey People deserve to be treated better.
