Your South Bermondsey councillors Michael, Paul & Myself will be asking the leader of the council about:
Closing the parking one stop shop and making us residents rely on the post service to deliver the new permits.
The latest on the reports of water ingress reports on the Manor Estate.
Why has he decided to increase garage rents by 50%.
What is the latest with the ‘Connect2′ Rotherhithe New Road bridge project?

I met with Sarah and Courtney over the weekend.
They showed me the Cleaner, Greener Safer projects on their estate.
Some planters, about to flower, an open space tidied up – nothing special,
but when the plants got vandalised, all the tenants came out and replanted the troughs.
Residents love their CGS projects, because they have requested them, they are special, and make the place seem human.
People think about what they need, and ask for the money for these projects.
The money has been stopped for this year – No more cleaner greener safer money
I have written to Labour Cllr Abdul Mohammed to ask him what is happening to the CGS scheme.
I’ll post his reply

Following Simon Hughes’s laudable anti-nuclear performance on Question Time on Thursday (link below)
I hope I can get along to this to hear him speak about a sustainable future, and the implications of actually making policy in government.
