Coopers Road, Rolls Road Housing Site

On Wednesday Peabody displayed their plans for the Coooper, Rolls Road site. We’ve been on to Peabody to get them to share their vision with the local community.

I’ve just had a call from a council tenant with a load of ants in her home The Council’s team said they can’t help her. I’ve contacted the housing department to see if I can get her some help.

Manor Estate Update

At last we managed to get the Housing Department and others down to the manor Estate today. I went out knocking on doors at Pope House, and Trappes House. Staff from the Housing Department, the local Police, The local Wardens were all present. We managed to help loads of people with housing problems.

Southwark News: “People Power prompts rethink”

At last, a response to our campaign to save the Nursery in Tenda Road. Labour have now agreed to undertake some consultation, a shameful admission that they should have started with consulting local parents before making the decision to close our nurseries.
