Bring the Cycle Hire scheme to Bermondsey

The cycle hire scheme has passed Bermondsey by. The nearest hire scheme rack is about a mile away at Tower Bridge. Local Liberal Democrats are looking at ways of bringing the hire scheme to The Blue, so that we can all use the bikes.

   This scruffy fence in Dunton Road was becoming a real eyesore. With some money from Bermondsey Community Council, We got the fence taken down, and replaced with a new brick wall. It looks much smarter now. The paving has been tidied up too.
