Labour Southwark have signed a contract to install 90 new “self illuminating” poster boards across the borough.
The free standing ‘boards’ are nine foot tall and four feet wide – that is massive!
I’ve ‘mocked up’ a picture to show the scale:

They are lit up 24 hours a day,
using loads of electricity,
There was no announcement, other than legal notices,
no notices to local groups, local traders, or community councils.
Loads of people are saying they are too big, they will block the pavements,
making it tough for blind people, people pushing wheel chairs and prams.
I’m surprised at Labour just imposing them, when they go and on about consultation!
No consultation here!
