No one wants to have their car clamped.
It is ridiculous that tenants and their visitors have to pay a week’s rent to get their cars released.
The government has changed the law on clamping on private land.
Southwark Council will have to stop clamping, and start issuing tickets instead.
The fine will fall from £110 to about £65 – Much more reasonable!
Expect changes from October this year.
