The local Labour administration have called the campaign a political, Liberal Democrat Campaign,
which is not fair on the parents,
many weren’t Liberal Democrat supporters at the beginning of the campaign,
The trade unions who support the campaign are (mostly) not Liberal Democrats.
The efforts to discredit the campaign appear to have backfired on Labour,
who have upset a load of hard working parents by
patronising them,
ignoring them,
then dismissing them,
before finally listening to their genuine concerns.
The local council should be championing working families.
