Dog owners around Reverdy & Balaclava Roads……..

by Graham Neale on 22 February, 2013

Following a series of complaints from local residents,
including those with pushchairs, children, and a wheelchair user:

Dog owners need to be particularly careful around Reverdy Road, Alma Grove and Balaclava Road.

I have asked council staff to spray these stencils on the pavement:

Bag it

There is already a law in place (the Control of Dogs Order 1992 [2]) that requires all dogs to wear a collar and tag containing contact details of the owner.
Non-compliance with this law already carries a fine of up to £5,000.
Owners who don’t clear up, can face a £2,000 fine!

DOG OWNERS  REALLY NEED TO THINK TWICE ABOUT LEAVING THEIR MUTT’S MESS ON THE PAVEMENT.
or face a substantial fine.
